If your valve stems no longer seal properly then the only solution is to install a new set of valve seals. This means the head will have to be removed after the engine has been partially dis-assembled. You might have to have a machine shop perform the repair if you do not posses the necessary equipment.

They sell additive that will help with the short term problem but once they begin to leak they will only get worst over time. I recommend planning on removing them and installing new ones over the next few months.

If you are referring to your tires stems then you can try installing new valve. If you are taking about your engine's valve stems then the only way to fix them is to replace them. The head needs to be removed so the old seals can be taken out and new ones pressed in.

If you valve seal leak the only true solution is to go and have them replaced. This means the engine needs to be torn down and the head needs to come off. Then the valve-train can be taken apart and the old seals pressed out before new ones are pressed in. Then the engine can be re-assembled.

You can always keep putting air into the tires, replace the valve stems, replace the tires, or use something to goo around the stem as a temporary fix till a later time.

If leakage is in the tires stems you can very well fix them or replace with new ones. If the leakage is in the engine's valve stems then it should be only replaced with new ones. This means that the valve has been torn down and the heads need to come off.

To replace valve stem. Take all air out of tire. Break bead on tire and get to the valve stem. Screw it out and replace it. air the tire back up. The pressure will set the bead. If you cant do it, it will cost 15 at a shop.

Got a slow leak in your tire and can't figure out where? It is likely a worn core in your tire's valve stem. Replacing it is easy, fast and best of all, CHEAP! The local garage will likely hit you for their hourly shop charge if they do it. about 3 minutes and $1. 49!

If your valve stems are leaking then more than likely the head will need to be pulled and new valve seats and seal need to be installed.

You could replace the valve stems. You could use a type of sealant on the valve stems such as JB Weld.
