What can be done about a collapsed arch in the foot?

I've not been to the doctor because I don't know what good it will do to go.

There are several ways of dealing with this problem. One solution would be to insert an arch support into your footwear. This will help to lift the collapsed arch and improve posture. A more permanent solution would be physiotherapy to help strengthen the tendons in the foot as tendon weakness and damage is a common cause of collapsed arches.

Collapsed arch or flat foot can sometime contribute to leg or lower back pain. Inner soles and supportive shoe wear will normally help to limit the collapsed arch and help with the posture. Certain foot exercise teached by the physiotherapy can also help to mantain the arch and control the position of the foot.

I actually just finished recovering from this surgery and all they did was insert an arch in your ankle to make you have a fake arch in your foot. If you live in Texas go to North Star Ankle And Foot. It didnt hurt one it. You should get going
