I am an interior designer and wold like to learn autocad, however I do not know which one I should start with?

There are a few to look at. If you do mainly 3D design, go with UGS NX. If you do mainly schematics, go with AutoCad.

Autodesk AutoCAD 2011 is what you want to learn. Or simply a newer version of the software. Most programs by Autodesk are the industry standard.

I would just use the basic AutoCAD LT since most of your work will be 2D anyways. You can make blocks for your furniture sizes and easily learn it.

Well the best autocad program for designers is Home Design Software. The newest version just came out not to long ago. It also gives you some brief tutorials about auto cad.
