The Pop Art movement brought many artists into the public eye such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Claes Oldenberg. These artists approached their subjects through different mediums (silkscreen, painting, sculpture), but each addressed notions of popular culture. These artists helped level boundaries that existed between what was considered high and low art.
