What are the uses of aloe vera?

It can be used to treat burns, like sunburns. Usually to pick up part of the plant, remove the outer skin and crush it to a pulp, using the juices created from this as well, and smear it over the burn. Also, in Korea, people mush the pulp, add sugar and water and drink it, strange texture but tasty.

Aloe vera is a great soother and also a remedy for sun burn. If applied to a sun burn in cools the heated feeling on the skin and also helps to moisturize the skin, possibly preventing peeling and helping to speed up the healing process.

Aloe vera is used to alleviate the symtoms of a burn, weather it be from sun or fire it works as a coolent. Also aloe may be used to moisturize and help prevent damage caused by heat.

Aloe vera is very versatile. The gel from its leaves can be applied to the skin to soothe all sorts of conditions. You just have to break off a leaf and squeeze to release the gel. It can be used for dry skin, sore skin, insect bites and stings to name just a few.
