There are dozens and dozens of medication options for OCD and depression. A psychiatrist evaluates the patient in many areas, considers his/her medical past and psychiatric history, other medications past and current and attempt then to prescribe the most effective program of medication. This program is monitored and changed as needed. Everything depends on the patient.
