Four days post up from an abdominal surgery it is not highly unusually to have some nausea and pain. However, if the nausea or pain is severe, you are vomiting a great deal, or you have a temperature, you should call your surgeon. While not common, it is possible to have a complication from the surgery.

There are no major health problems resulting from cecal polyp and appendectomy. The most common complications are infection of the wound and pus formation in the area of the appendix. There may be feeling of nausea due to the after effects of anesthesia or if body is alergic to any medicine administered during recovery period.
