They are typically a 15 inch tire by ten inches wide. the compound of the tires vary they make different compound for different race tracks and track conditions. Every year NASCAR and Goodyear the makers of the tires chase the best posssible compounds for the ever changing tracks in order to make racing safer and more competitive.
