Multiple sclerosis means multiple lesions can occur at the brain and spinal cord. Signs include any limbs weakness, any sensory weakness or any visual disturbances which is sudden. The signs can be transient and dissappear after sometime or it can leave residual weakness which worsened overtime. Patient will usually die as a result of respiratory infection rather than disease itself.

Multiple Sclerosis is especially characterized by weakening of the muscles. If he has a hard time holding on to things, or standing for a long time or is frequently in pain, you should get it checked out. Anything that seems out of the ordinary should always be looked into by a doctor.

Firstly multiple sclerosis affects the brain so paralysis is one major sign, along with weakness, numbness and tingling sensation of limbs, foot drags, mostly anything to do with the muscles.

The signs of multiple sclerosis are muscle problems (weak or stiff muscles, dropping things more often, and you may become less coordinated), sensory problems (tingling, pins and needles sensation, numbness), visual problems (vision may be blurred or hazy), and balance problems (you may feel lightheaded, dizzy, or like you are spinning).
