What are the side effects of Lunesta?

Lunesta has some serious side effects. If you arise too early after taking this drug, you can experience dizziness, hallucinations, hearing of voices, etc. Other side effects include: stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, muscle cramps, shaking or tremors, anxiety, strange dreams, and possibly seizures. Speak to your physician about about any side effects. Do not stop taking this medication abruptly.

Lunesta side effects may include in general: headaches, dizziness, drowsy in morning, bad taste, and risk of dependency. Other behaviors have been aggressiveness, confusion, hallucinations, and agitation. Anyone who is depressed may experience even worse depression including the risk of suicide. All side effects are worse when used with alcohol.

Lunesta (eszopiclone) can cause the patients to have disorder in taste, headache, dizziness, dyspepsia, and nausea. Some patients have reported of "sleep-driving" behaviors when they are not fully awake.

Possible side effects you may experience if taking Eszopiclone (Lunesta) include headaches, general pain, chest pain or increased period pain, cold-like symptoms, dry mouth, upset stomach, lightheadedness or dizziness, heartburn, low libido and daytime drowsiness. The less common side effects are rashes, itching, painful or frequent urination, incoordination and swelling. Adverse neuropsychiatric and behavioual effects have also been reported.

They can possibly cause dizziness. Some people report short term memory loss. An allergic reaction would cause facial swelling, hive, and trouble breathing.
