Swelling of the cerebellum can be a matter of life and death. Brain tissue tends to die if not kept in its natural state.

A swollen cerebellum is extremely dangerous and requires immediate medical attention. Death is a real danger. Severe brain damage is also possible, including being reduced to a vegetative state. Less severe problems, like speech limitations or memory issues, can also occur. With prompt treatment, there is sometimes no lasting damage.

The risks of a swollen cerebellum means that you have fluid on the brain. It can be very dangerous. Fluid on the brain can cause retardation, or even be fatal If the brain swells too much, it could crack your skull, and cause your skull to bleed. This is very dangerous.
