What are the requirements to get my GED?

You need to be at least sixteen years old. You will either be required to take specific GED classes in order to study for the exam or you could directly just take it and make a passing score.

The GED is awarded when a student passes a series of tests in five academic subjects. In order to pass each test, the student must score higher than 60% of the sample set of graduating seniors. Generally, students need to spend a considerable amount of time studying for the exams.

The student must be 16 and meet state requirments. You must pass your high school equivalency test. After that you can get your diploma wich is more acceptable to enter college. If you don't pass the test the first time you are allowed to take the equivalency test again for your records.
