What are the religious rules of the Lutheran Church?

Lutherans believe that we are saved by God's mercy, salvation was made possible by Jesus Christ, that trust in Jesus is essential to salvation. Lutherans take their beliefs from the Holy Bible and believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. Lutherans believe that it is important to be able to express their faith in an understandable manner.

While practices in the Lutheran Church vary from group to group, there are some similar rules in all of them. All Lutheran Churches forbid women from becoming pastors. They also follow a prescribe liturgy in worship. Other than that, the rules are the same as other Christian churches.
