The longest UK river is the river Severn, flowing through Wales and England. The length of Severn constitutes 354 kilometres. The second-longest river is the Thames best-known for flowing through London. However, it also flows through such important English cities as Oxford, Reading and Windsor. The length of the Thames is 346 kilometres.
