In my opinion, the greatest musical groups of all time are Bob Marley & The Wailers, Led Zeppelin, Alice in Chains, De La Soul, The Roots, Rush, Metallica, Groundation, The Chieftans, The Commodores, The Dixie Chicks, Beastie Boys, Atmosphere, Digable Planets, Citizen Cope, Dispatch, G. Love & Special Sauce and Simon & Garfunkel.

It really depends on opinion and your idea of a "group", I would say The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Zeppelin, Elvis, but there is also Mozart and many others out there.
