As a central nervous system depressant, the high risk of addiction and overdose is real. A user can bear scars for life from the needles. HIV and hepatitis B and C can be contracted. If those risks become reality, there is permanent damage.

Yes, long-term use of heroin causes permanent damage to your veins (they collapse) and your organs (the blood flow to them is disrupted and so parts of them die.)

Heroin enters the brain quickly causing an initial intense sensation. Afterward the person becomes drowsy and the breathing is slowed dramatically in some cases to the point of causing death. Addiction is one of the long term detrimental effects which can lead to a variety of other serious health problems.

Heroine is very damaging to the body and causes permanent effects. Heart problems can be a result of using heroine, lung problems, seizures, and having brain damage can also happen. These peoblems occur because heroine is actually a poison to humans, and the body does not like being poisoned at all. heroine can lead to death, which is also permanent.
