Catholics believe in tradition more than Protestants. Catholics confess their sins to a priest while Protestants pray directly to God. Catholics believe in praying to the Virgin Mary ( mother of Jesus ) for intercession on their behalf. Protestants respect Mary but do not pray to her. Catholics revere saints and even pray for their assistance while Protestants do not.

There are some differences. Born again is a term that gets confused within religions. Protestants believe you need to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, repent of your sins and make Him the Lord of your life. Catholics interperet it different.
