The main difference in these two big cats is the coloring of the coats. Tiger is orange with black and white stripes. The loin's cost is solid light tan color.

Tigers like climbing trees compared to lions who only like be on land.A tiger can take a carcass up the tree while a lion will prefer it on the ground.Tigers also run faster than lions.Mostly lions move in groups while a tiger would prefer to go hunting on its own.

They are both members of the cat family, but look different (tigers have stripes, lions don't), and the males in the lion species have manes, where tigers don't. Tigers are generally a bit larger than lions, and lions tend to travel in packs, where tigers generally hunt by themselves than with others.
