Asia has approximately fifty countries. India and Pakistan are in South Asia. The North region includes Kazakhstan. China and Japan are in East Asia and Iran in West Asia.

Some of the countries are China, Indonesia, Japan, Mongolia, Russia, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, South Korea, North Korea, Laos, India, Sri Lanka and Kazakhstan. Some of these may be considered "Euro-Asia" which means they border both Asia and Europe.
