Every case is different. Depending on your age and health it may be or may not be cancerous. The main thing you need to do is see your Dr. and have all the testing. The solid the cyst is more chances it is cancerous.

Depending on what is within the cyst could the chances of having cancer be speculated. The more solid component than liquid inside a cyst could be related to cancer. On the other hand, through a thorough examination of the cyst covering the right thyroid via ultra sound guided biopsy, the chances of it to be cancerous could be determined.

Unfortunately there really isn't any type of probability associated with that condition. Each case will certainly be different from another. It's best to get the testing you require and make sure that your own case isn't cancerous. Good luck!

It depends on the age and nature of the cyst. First, you have to make sure that the cyst is a cyst. Sometimes they can be mistaken for growths. Generally the older you are, the more likely it can be cancerous, but you need to have a biopsy done regardless.

You always have a 50/50 chance that a cyst may or not be cancerous. Most of the time your doctor can do a biopsy to see if the cyst is cancerous or not.
