What are the best amplifiers and preamps?

I have always found Marshall to be the best company for all your amp needs. However, they can be on the pricey side occasionally. If we're talking guitars, then a great option I always use for both my electric and bass guitars is Stagg.

When looking for amplifiers you cannot go wrong with peavey. Peavey makes the best bass and guitar amps. These amps are expensive but worth it.

Given the choice, I will always go with Fender amps and preamps. They cost a little more than some others on the market today, but I think they are well worth the price. Also, I prefer the older ones from the 1950s or 1960s. The sound has more character and, in my opinion, it's just better overall.
