It is only the size of texas but has 7 mountain ranges and 5 river systems. April Fool's Day started in france. Wine is free with most meals in France. There are between 200,000 and 1 million illegal immigrants in France. The term denim was originated in France. The Gallic Rooster is the national animal of france.

France was once divided into two regions based on what the word for "Yes" was in the language of each of those regions. Also, it is impolite to ask any questions about family and personal items unless you know someone very well.

There are perfumeries in the Provence region of France where specialized "noses" work. These "noses" are highly trained, incredibly skilled people who are capable of discerning hundreds of different scents, both individually and in combination with each other. The rich, as well as many celebrities, pay top-dollar for consultations with these "noses."
