What are some ways that a man can better respects a woman?

A man shows a woman respect by treating her like a lady in public. He opens the door for her. He is polite to her and shows respectful attitude.

See, that's a hard one. It depends on the woman. To some women, letting her make decisions and be more independent would be signs of respect. On the other hand, some women would like that sometimes, but really would like you to take the lead, open doors and buy her gifts. I would ask her what she likes if confused.

A man can listen to a woman's thoughts and suggestions. He can make sure her opinion is sought out and included in decision-making. He can speak to her respectfully and not physically, verbally or emotionally abuse her. A man can help out a woman when she requests it. He can offer her time and space to do things she enjoys.

You can show a woman respect by doing nice things for her, thinking about her and telling her you're thinking about her during the day.
