What are some vertical jump training tips?

I want a higher vertical jump.

The best way to improve your verticel jump is to incorporate plyometrics and wieghtlifting into your workouts. Weightlifting should consist of deadlifts and squats hile plyometics include jumps. The stronger your legs are the more force they can apply to the ground, thus pushing you higher off the floor.

Any type of power exercise will improve your vertical jump. You could try incorperating hang cleans, power snatched, and weighted jumps into your daily workout regiment. After a month of doing these exercise you sould see an improvment in your vertical jump.

You need to do strength training. Either do weighted squats or one leg squats. You need a gym to do weighted squats. If you are not strong enough to do one leg squats, try doing while holding the somewhere like the doorway.

There are two things that I suggest: as many knee bends as you can handle and playing basketball or running with weights around your ankles.
