Check for webs,discoloration, and spotting on the plants in your home. If the infestation gets worse these symptoms might too.

Cobwebs are the real indicator. Also little black flecks that appear to change position daily but just look like dust are a sure sign they are there.

Spider mites are in every home it just depends on the number of them that you have. you really can't see them but you can have allergy like symptoms from them or funny little rashes if they are in the mattresses of the beds and furniture cushions. But I know they sell a spray to get rid of them.

If you have some spider mites in your house, you may notice some kind of white discharge in your home. Also you may notice that there are many webs on some places such as corners. What I would do is spray raid all over the area and then clean your carpet accordingly

Well if you notice that there are some eggs lying around or also just white and black stuff all over the house, then you do have some spider mites. But specifically if there are some small white eggs or spots, you know it for sure is the spider mites in the home.

Spider mites usually live on plants, so only worry about it if you have inside plants. If this is the case check the leaves of your plants. There will be small brown or yellow dots with silk around the leaves. The leaves will also discolor. Treat this quickly because it can get out of hand fast.
