One totally Roman myth involves the founding of Rome as a city. Twins Romulus and Remus are abandoned but are nursed by a wolf and a shepherd later takes them in to raise. As adults they fight over creating a new city. Romulus wins and becomes the founder of Rome.

Essentially Roman myths are those of Greek myths. Zeus is Jupiter, Hera is Juno, Ares is Mars, Artemis is Diana. If you watched Xena or Hercules in the 1990s, you might have noticed Aphrodite referred to her son as Cupid. Cupid is actually the Roman name for Eros but because Cupid is better known the writers used the wrong name.

One of the Roman Myths is about Rome's founding. The myth of Romulous and Remus is about how they were abandoned and raised by wolves before founding Rome.
