Two big points between the two cities are Los Angelos and Disney Land. Outdoor sites include Monteray and Big Sur. Consider a trip to the Wincherster Mystery house or Hirst Castle.

There are many points of interest to visit between San Francisco and San Diego. You could explore the Central coast area of Monterey and Carmel, then try Los Angeles for a while, as well as the suburbs of L.A. You should check out San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, and La Jolla too.

On the Coast Route, tour William Randolph Hearst's stunning estate at San Simeon. Then, make sure you drive the spectacular Big Sur Coast during daylight hours. Stop in Santa Cruz to ride the Giant Dipper roller coaster, and at Ano Nuevo State Reserve to see the wacky elephant seals.
