These can vary quite a bit, depending upon the counselor and the reason why you are there. In general, however, the idea is to make sure that you are really committed to each other and have discussed the practical details of marriage. This includes things like who will take care of finances, and how you handle conflict with each other.

Typical questions you can expect - How will you handle finances? Separate checking accounts or a joint account? Have you discussed when to have children? How will you handle disagreements? How will you spend time at holidays when both families want you to visit?
