What are some Jewish wedding wishes?

My friends just got engaged and I want to congratulate them. What are some common good wishes in yiddish or Hebrew for their pending nuptials?

Mazel tov or just mazel for short, though a wedding should deserve the tov!

And in response the bride or groom will say B'Karov Etzlech (to a single woman), or B'Karov Etzlech (to a single man) meaning and soon may it be you. It the well wisher is married then a simple toda (thank you) or toda raba (thank you very much) will do.  add a comment

The most common term used to give a couple well wishes should be used only during the ceremony. Mazal Tov! You should not try to use any type of language other than your own. Sounds better.

There are seven blessings (the sheva berakhot) that are traditional, and it wouldn't take long to learn them in Yiddish, Hebrew and English. You can also stick to the simple To Life! L'chaim.
