Pitbulls are extremely loyal animals and if trained properly, they can be excellent with small children. They are sometimes used as therapy dogs and bomb sniffing dogs as well.

Despite the common stereotype for pitbulls, they are not a naturally aggressive breed. They are actually a mutt breed and there is no such thing as a "Pure" pitbull. A common problem with pitbulls is inbreeding resulting in genetic defects in many advertised "pure breeds".

The most interesting is that they aren't mean by nature they get mean through torture and training if you are always good to them they are very good dogs.

I own two pit bulls. They are the most loving gentle dogs if you treat them right. They are very smart. They love to play. My female acts like one of the kids. She is the protector of the family. The best dogs I've owned.

Pitbulls are great pets just like any other breed,I have 3 yr old nephew and he loves my pitbull. no matter how rough my gets my pitbull remains calms,so times he even runs lol
