I like to bring frozen Healthy Choice Meals. They provide at least one serving of veggies. I have been eating them for lunch for the past 1 1/2 years. They have helped me lose 55 pounds. The different recipes are great and provide enough variety that I rarely eat the same meal twice in 2 weeks.

It depends on why you are brining lunch to work. If it is to save money sandwitches are a good standby. Yogurt and/or cheese and crackers could also be a great idea. Veggies with dip is another. If you want to save and be green bring reusable containers and fruits that do not need containers.

I think you should fix yourself something healthy. And what kind of container you bring it in depends on where you work. If you work construction, you don't want everybody to see you carrying a Fraggle Rock lunch pail (or maybe you do.) I think some soup. A sandwich.

While salads and sandwiches are always a good choice, don't be afraid to spice things up once in a while. You can take left overs from the night before as well. If you had chicken breasts last night turn it into a salad or a tasty sandwich. It's also good because you won't waste food.
