An idea for you to ponder is to use one metallic paint and possibly one matte and create horizontal lines (ie strips), switching off colors, metallic then matte.

Metallic paint would look great on many small furniture items, such as a small bedside cabinet, to give that French Boudoir mirrored look for less. Or customise a children's bedroom with stencilled silver and gold star and moon shapes. Metallic paint could also be used to revive old decorative items such as vases or bowls.

You can paint vertical stripes in the room. Use blue paint tape and mark out the lines with a contractor and help from someone to keep the lines level. Then tape the lines onto the wall. Grab a paint roller and steadily roll on the paint in an up and down motion, let dry, then remove the tape.

I think a great idea is too use this paint for an accent wall. I bet it would be great in a bedroom behind the bed. I don't think using this paint on all the walls would be as pretty. It maybe overwhelming if it was on all the walls.

You could use Ralph Lauren Metallic paint for fun projects like a child's playroom. You could paint an automobile on a wall and have it look realistic with this paint. It may be a good paint to use as an accent wall as well!

1) The exteriors of planters or pots. 2) Metal lighting fixtures may be sandblasted and recoated with Ralph Lauren metallic paint. 3) File cabinets - be sure to seal with a clearcoat afterwards.

Metallic paint is great for outdoor living accessories and furniture. Another good use is for parade floats. Its cheap and easy, and dries fast. Also it is an inexpensive craft supply for any hobbyist. The great thing about metallic paint, is that it last longer than average flat or matte paint.

A good idea might be to use it for accenting stripes on furniture or walls or to highlight intricate detail on painted furinture pieces.
