Who's Sorry Now?, Connie Francis, is payback for causing pain. I Will Not be Broken, Bonnie Raitt is about never letting anything tear you down. Move Over, Janis Joplin, motivates you to get on with life.

Some empowering songs are We will rock you (Queen), We're not gonna take it (Twisted Sister), The Final Countdown (Europe), Heaven can Wait (Iron Maiden), Eagle Fly Free (Helloween), Warriors of the World (Manowar), Legend Reborne (Hammerfall), etc.

Here is a list of some songs I consider to be empowering: Metallica - Enter Sandman, Powerman 5000 - Bombshell, Limp Bizkit - Head for the Baricades, Audioslave - Your time has come, Soundgarden - Black hole Sun, Kenny Arkana - La rage, and last but not least, Motorhead - Ace of Spades.
