Try to use home decor that matches the overall theme of your home. Don't try to force silver decor to match a house with gold hardware, so example. Use as many tall objects as possible to create an impression of high ceilings.

Keeping it simple is always agood idea. Pick colors that you are drawn to but remeber to limit your colors this will keep your room from being to "busy"looking.Balance is essential to keep an even flow through out the room. Use wall mirrors to make the illuson of a larger room. Keep wall decor simple,too much can overwhelm the area.

Here are a couple of tips. Group like items together, don't spread them around a room. Stick with a few colors for a more pulled together look.
