There is no cure for ADD, but it can be controlled, usually through medicine. Sometimes, through discipline, but that's not something people with ADD usually have. Fortunately, it is something that some children do "grow out of."

At the present time, there is no cure for ADD. The current recommended treatment by physicians for ADD includes prescribed medications such as Adderall, Ritalin and Dexedrine, group counseling, behavior modification therapy, diet changes, neurofeedback and prayer. In addition, it is always best to make sure that any prescribed medication or drugs are FDA approved for safety.

There are natural remedies available to cure ADD. One is St. John's Wort that also cures the depression that goes with ADD. Another good one is Spirulina.
