Most board games are good, especially those that force the children to use their memory, like Clue. Card games are also recommended, as they encourage kids to count and do simple arithmetical operations. Doing puzzles also improves concentration.

Memory: lay out cards face-side down and flip cards rightside up two at a time and look for matches. Quieter games are also good for building concentration such as puzzles, or reading. Memory tray: Have 5-6 items on a tray and study them for 1 minute. Close your eyes, have someone remove an item, guess what it is.

Memory or guess who are great concentration games. They are also great for kids to play with each other in order for you to get things done while they stay occupied.
