Sneezing is rarely a sign of allergies in dogs. Dog allergies to inhaled items or foods typically show up as ear infections, skin itching or paw chewing. Sneezing may be a sign of a dental infection with a root draining into the nose, an inhaled item such as a weed seed, infection, tumor, or even nasal mites.

Dogs typically manifest their allergies with red, itchy skin and ears. Sneezing is usually a foreign body (like a piece of grass)in his nose, or an infection like kennel cough.

As beagles are scent dog's it is more likely he has put his nose in something that has gotten stuck up there such as a peice of grass.

Allergies affect not only Beagles but other dogs as well. There are 4 types of allergies to be careful for. Inhalant allergies, flea allergies, contact allergies, and food allergies. Observe your dog to figure what kind of allergies it has.

He is for sure allergic to something. Have you changed his food? Is he scratching or chewing his paw or rear end? If so, yes, it's allergies.
