Portion tags are tags that show how much weight is allowed to be taken in 18-wheelers. If the driver exceeds the weight allowed, a trucker can be fined.

These are tags that allow truck drivers to drive in different states. They are issued by the department of transportation and help determine fuel tax.

For truck Drivers, first of all, they should have their own driving Licence. Secondly, they must declare, the item, what they are carrying. If it is some, explosive items, gas cylinders etc. ,a tag should be shown well visible to know what is the load going infront of you, or coming behind.
