A friend said she was taking them and I had no idea what she was talking about.

They are an over the counter dietary supplement commonly used for the treatment of vertigo, inner ear and canal issues, and Tinnitus.

I'm guessing you mean Lipoflavonoid, which is a dietary supplement containing vitamins, inositol, and a lemon extract, which contains bioflavonoid compounds. These are thought to help people with tinnitus, the "ringing in the ears" complaint, and Meniere's disease, although the medical evidence is somewhat limited. A patient suffering from tinnitus due to menieres disease is given lipoflaonoids to improve microcirculation in the inner canal of the ear. This is extract of citrus bioflavonoids which is the trade name Lipoflaonoids.
