You can get a computer virus over the internet,cd-dvd media.usb flash,flopy...There is many way's of geting a computer virus,in general there is two ways: trouguht a network(lan,wi-fi,ethernet,internet) and trought storage media...there is a chance of geting a computer virus by downloadaing or using pirated software for explame: pirated Windows ,pirated photoshop or games that includes viruses...

Plugging an infected USB drive into your computer, loading a CD-ROM/DVD with a virus on it, getting the virus via EMail, running infected pirated software or from a malicious website.

Well the biggest way is by clicking on attachment form people you dont know in emails. But, you can also get them from dowloading music, movies, files and even pictures. Always use a trusted source and don't click suspicious links and you'll be alright.

Anything where your computer comes in contact with the outside world. Emails, downloading programs, bad websites, hooking it up to an infected computer, putting an infected disk in, etc.
