Well all I can say is unless you want alot of hamsters or you are going to sell them or give them away I would buy seperate cages for the boys and the girls as hamsters mate alot and have alot of babies. Just buy 2 cages and seperate them unless you want alot of them.
Hamsters in general need to be raised together from birth, or they will not get along in the same cage. And unless you want to have baby hamsters, you should not put a male and female together.
