Should you shower after a bath in order to be clean?

You do not really need to, but it would help. When you shower, all of the dirt and grime washes directly down the drain. When taking a bath, you're merely diluting the grime, and leaving a healthy layer of soap scum on you as well. Really though, it's not that big of a deal.

Showering after a bath defeats the purpose of taking the bath, especially if your intent was to relax. You should shower before, thereby taking all the days dirt off your body, then you can fill the tub with relaxing bath salts or bubble bath. That way when you sink into the bath, you can light candles, lay back and relax.

You do not need do if you have properly and thoroughly cleaned yourself while bathing. You need to make sure you use a good soap and lather up all areas of your body while bathing. Rinse yourself thoroughly too with plenty of water. As long as you do all that there is no need to shower.

If you just take a bath, all that dirt and grime is still in the tub water just floating around with you. You need to at least rinse off in the shower so you don't have bath suds stuck to you, but I would suggest getting the whole shower.
