Should I keep a needlefish in an aquarium? What kind of aquarium should I use?

If you are a beginner aquarist, than no. However, if you are up for the challenge, I would recommend a long shallow tank with a good cover.

needle fish should not be kept by a novice. The fish tend to be easily stressed. They can nip hands and other fish. They have sharp teeth. These fish should be kept in larger tanks with a good amount of vegitation in it to hide in. They are a stealthy predator.

Yes you can keep a needlefish in an aquarium, but size of the aquarium should be large and it need fresh water and you should be able to keep fresh water daily.And you should not keep other species of fishes with needlefish because it will attack.It has sharp teeth so aquarium glass should be thick.

Never keep a needlefish in a small aquarium. The needlefish needs a fresh water aquarium. Buy a 75 gallon aquarium and buy three needfish; they like company.
