Alcohol ruins people's lives. When someone is making an effort in their lives to get sober and stay sober, be considerate and abstain from drinking around them.

It is generally not advised that someone should drink around an alcoholic as it could trigger them to want to drink more than normally, also it may make them think that 'if you can have a drink why cant I?'

I totally think the answer is no. What good can come of it? If he is trying to quit then it will only make that process more difficult for him. If he is still drinking it may only encourage him to see you drinking as well.

I am thinking no, it is not kind. If he is trying to stop drinking, or has not been drinking for a while, he will have to struggle that much harder. Help him if at all possible.

Your husband is going to drink if he wants to. You cannot FORCE an alcoholic to stop. The will stop when they are ready. So drink if you would like to.

When your husband is alcoholic, there is nothing wrong in taking drinks in front of him, but it is always better to have a limit between husband and wife or else things might become complicated later on

It is best not to, especially if he is just starting to get sober. He will have to deal with facing alcohol in social situations eventually but until he feels strong enough in himself to abstain, you should not be dangling temptation in front of him. If you really want a drink, try weak vodka drinks or switch to mocktails.
