It depends on the dryer you want to buy. There can be risks depending on the dryer's condition. You don't want a dryer that uses a lot of electricity. Check the cords for rips, breakage and fraying. Let the owner turn it on so you can listen for anything that could be wrong.

There is no health issue in buying a used dryer. The only risk you may run is that the unit may have significant wear and may break down quicker than a newer unit.

There is no health risk from a used dryer. But buying any used appliance has the risk of being a lemon, that is, the dryer may not work well.

There aren't any kind of risks involved in buying a used dryer, health wise anyways. The main risks involved with buying a used dryer are if it works properly, whats all wrong with it, what needs to be replaced, how old it is, and if there are any dents in it.

There aren't any health risks unless it came for a dirty house, but a lot of the time the washer is really bad quailty. So just be careful
