Having thin stool from time to time is ok. It becomes worrisome when it persists for more than two weeks, is bloody, if you have severe cramps, bloating, or vomiting. These could be signs of a tumor or other blockage in the bowel.

That all depends on the person and their diet. You can discuss it with your doctor and they will ask some questions then they will let you know if there is any cause for concern or not. If you are truly worried about it then the sooner you get to the doctor the sooner they can put you at ease.

One cause of worry for stool is if it too watery or if you feel constipated. As long as you do not feel any pain or not see a presence of blood in your stool it is alright.

Thin stool occuring frequently could be an indication of some bowel diseases. Chart for a week on the number of times thin/ hard stool happened and discuss with doctor.
