It is not recommended to drink alcohol while taking klonopin because they are both central nervous system depressants. They both slow the activity of the brain which can lead to serious side effects and reactions. Some of the side effects include: drowsiness, dizziness, unusual behavior, memory problems and problems with cordination. So alcohol should not be used while taking klonopin.

No. It can cause some major issues, but my #1 is the sedative effect you will experience. Alcohol will multiply the effect greatly, causing narcoleptic like problems. If you are out somewhere in particular, this could be problematic.

Yes you should not drink while you are on Klonopin. If you take this drug while you drink then it can damage your liver system. Because liver absorbs alcohol and it will create more problems with your digestion. Either stop your drug and take alchohol or stop alchohol and take your drug regularly.

You are not supposed to drink while taking klonopin. The alcohol enhances the effects of klonopin, makes it stronger so you get sleepier and woozier. Some people like to drink with klonopin but it could be dangerous.
