Should I be concerned about lumps in the brain as shown on an ultrasound?

My baby has lumps on his brain.

Is your baby in-utero? If so, if the doctor didnt seem concerned and you just felt you saw lumps then there is nothing to be worried about. If, however your doctor told you that the baby has lumps then there could be issues such as water on the brain, and tumors. Both of which can vary in severity.

Lumps may occur, when lymph nodes are swollen due to bacterial or viral infections. Lymph nodes are filters and can catch infectious organism. Lump in the brain means possiblity of cancer. It may be due to allergic reaction due to taking sulfa drugs, iodine, or penicillin. Lumps may be deducted by complete blood test, kidney function test and X ray on brain

Yes you should definatley be concerned about the lumps in the brain as shown in your ultrasound. I would talk to my physician if I was you to see what can be done.

Yes, you should concerned about lumps in the brain because it may become tumors. Sometimes it is harmless. So you should consult a good physician and give a thorough check up.
