Should I be concerned about creatine levels of 1.7?

"Normal" creatinine levels for adults cap at 1. 1 or 1. 2. If yours is hgher, this means that your kidneys are not clearing properly. A doctor can help figure out why.

A creatine level of 1. 7 is not extremely high, but it is higher than average, which is between. 5 and 1. 2. You should talk to your doctor.

There is no need to worry about a 1. 7 level. You see,the creatine levels can change within hours and it is always different. As long as your level is not way to low or way to high then you should be fine. The doctor may be able to give you medicine if you are having side effects from the level however.

I recommend checking your creatine clearance using the Cockcroft-Gault equation. That is a proven method for assessing your kidney function instead of just looking at your creatine level.
