Most insect bites swell up. Ants have very weak venom, and the danger is when there are thousands of ants biting simutaniously. You should not be worried unless the sweeling does not go down within a few days, or if you experience respiratory difficulties.

You should not worry in most cases. Its just like when you get a mosquito bite. If you are having other reactions like hives or shortness of breath then you should go to the doctor.

Most bites will swell up, it's your body's way of protecting you from infection. It should fade within a few days, but see a doctor if it persists.

Though rare, a black ant bite could cause an allergic reaction. Serious reactions typically present as hives, shortness of breath, or major swelling and require medical evaluation.

Unless you have had prior allergic reactions or have a compromised immune system you should be perfectly fine. Give it a couple days and try and avoid scratching the site. Also, under no circumstances should you attemp to pop or lance the bite as this could cause an infection and simply make it worse.

You should not worry about it. People react differently to insect bites and as far as it is not getting septic, it will clear since the black ants bites are not poisonous.
